Job Description:
Our team is growing and we are searching for Pre-Med Students to join our Medical Assistant team!
Who We’re Looking For:
- College graduate or current college student with 6mo-1year Clinical Experience.
- Good eye for detail to spot mistakes/inconsistencies in medical documentation.
- Possess a superior understanding of Medical language and terminology.
- Well acquainted with anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology and treatment assessments.
- Type 55 words per minute minimum.
- Must be computer savvy.
- Patience, Enthusiasm & Excellent Customer Service Skills.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greeting patients always with a smile to assist in completing paperwork; answering questions and providing respectful and courteous support.
- Perform medical assistant duties such as recording vitals, and office tests.
- Produce medical reports, correspondence, records, patient-care information, and administrative material.
- Accompany and shadow infusion nurses supporting overall infusion workflow.
- Coordinating and prioritizing patient support with the Medical & Administrative Team.
- Faxing, filing and other clerical duties as needed.
- Always safeguarding and maintaining patient confidentiality by abiding to company policy and HIPAA regulation.
